Disabling the Strict Rekey
When there is a lot of wireless interference, the connection to SonicWave can encounter performance issues. Disabling the strict rekey process can potentially help improve connectivity in those environments.
To disable the strict rekey
- Navigate to Policies > Policy Hierarchy.
- Select an SSID policy.
- Select the General tab.
-
In the Authentication section, click Strict Rekey to the off position.
The Strict Rekey option is only available for WPA-PSK and WPA-EAP settings.
While disabling Strict Rekey can improve connectivity when there is significant wireless interference, it provides a less secure connection.
