Adding VMware View Resources

To add a VMware view resource

  1. In the AMC, navigate to Security Administration > Resources.

  2. Click the + (New) icon.

  3. Select Server farm from the dropdown list. The Add Resource - Server Farm page displays.

  4. In the Name field, type a name for the VMware view.

  5. Optional. In the Description field, type a descriptive comment about the VMware view.

  6. Under Citrix or VMware servers, click New and then specify the VMware servers that are included in the VMware view. Each view must include at least one server.

    1. In the Host or IP address field, type the host name or IP address for the VMware server.

    2. In the Port field, type the number of the port through which the appliance connects to the service on the VMware server. The default port number is 80.

    3. Click OK.

  7. Click Save.

To add a VMware View Client

  1. In the AMC, navigate to User Access > Agent Configuration.

  2. In the Other Agents section, click Configure next to Graphical terminal agents.

  3. In the VMware View clients section, click Browse... to navigate to the agent file. Select the agent file for each client.

  4. Click Save.
