Configuring Network Gateways in a Dual-Homed Environment
The following steps guide you through the setup of network gateways in a dual-homed environment, where both the internal and external interfaces are enabled.
To configure network gateways in a dual-homed environment

In the AMC, navigate to System Configuration > Network Settings.

In the Routing section, click Edit.
The Routing page displays.

To route traffic to your network gateways, select a Routing mode from these options:
Routing mode Description Dual gateway Specify an IP address for both the external and the internal gateways. Network traffic generated in response to client requests will be sent to the external gateway. All other traffic that does not have a static route defined will be sent to the internal gateway. Single gateway, restricted Specify an IP address for just the external gateway. All other traffic that does not have a static route defined will be discarded. Single gateway, unrestricted Specify an IP address to be used as both the external and internal gateway. Network traffic not matching a static route will be sent to the external gateway. No gateway Network traffic received by the appliance but not matching a static route is discarded. -
Click Save.
