Configuring Account Lockout

The SMA1000 12.4.3 provides the Account lockout settings for administrators when there are multiple failed login attempts.

Prerequisites:

• SMA/CMS running 12.4.3 firmware version.

To configure the account lockout for the primary administrator account

1. In AMC, navigate to System Configuration > General Settings.

2. In the Administrators area, click Edit for the Administrator accounts.

3. Click the Authentication tab.

4. Go to Advanced > Account Lockout section.

   

5. Enter the Lock account after how many failed login attempts. The value must be not less than 2 and not greater than 100.

6. Enter the Lock account for how many seconds after the failed login attempts. The value must be not less than 10 and not greater than 3600.

7. Click Save.
