Configuring Gateway Anti-Virus Settings
To enable Gateway Anti-Virus settings for one or more Objects per zone

Under Object, navigate to Match Object > Zones.

Select the Zone for which Gateway Anti-Virus has to be enabled and click on edit button. Switch on the Enable Anti-Spyware Service toggle button.

Click Save.
To enable Gateway Anti-Virus options

Under Policy, navigate to Security Services > Anti-Spyware.

Under Status/Settings page, enable the Enable Anti-Spyware toggle button.

Click Accept.

Enable/Disable PREVENT ALL and DETECT ALL button for the SIGNATURE GROUPS.

Click on the Configure button.

To suppress the sending of e-mail messages (SMTP) to clients from SonicWall Gateway Anti-Virus when a virus is detected in an e-mail or attachment, enable the Disable SMTP Responses toggle button. This option is not selected by default.

Enable/Disable HTTP Clientless Notification Alerts toggle button. Enter a message to display when message is blocked in the text box for Message to Display when Blocking.

To add addresses that will not be blocked by Anti-Spyware, enable the Enable Anti-Spyware Exclusion List toggle button and select the addresses from below options:

Select Use Address Object.
From the dropdown box select an existing object for Use Address Object or select Create new address object... from the dropdown.
Provide the details of the object and click Save.

Select Use Address Range and click on Add.
Provide the details and click OK.

Enable the protocols for the Enable Inbound Inspection.

Enable/Disable the Enable Inspection of Outbound Spyware Communication toggle button.

On successful configuration, click Accept.
To edit Signatures

Under Policy, navigate to Security Services > Anti-Spyware. Under Signature, hover on the signature that needs to be updated and click on the edit button.

Update the details and click OK.
