Viewing the NetExtender Log
The NetExtender log displays information on NetExtender session events. The log file name is saved as NetExtender.log
and it stores in the user-selected specific folder.
To view and export the logs files

Navigate to More > Logs to view the Logs page.

Click the View Logs option to view the log file. The Log file is helpful for collecting system information, viewing the diagnostic messages, and investigating issues.

Click the Export Logs option to save the log.
NetExtender takes some time to collect logs, and the exporting status shows as a loading bar.

Click the Clear Log option to clear the log. This option deletes all the saved log files permanently and they cannot be restored.

Select Enable Debug log option to find more information. NetExtender take more information to the location: C:\ProgramData\SonicWall\NetExtender\NetExtender-full.log.

Log will auto-rotate if log is more than 5MB

NetExtender service will zip NetExtender.log, NetExtender-full.log, and NetExtender-wireguard.log if these are more than 5MB when service starts or every 1 hour when local time is in 0-2 clock.

NetExtender UI will zip NetExtenderGui.log if NetExtender.log is more than 5MB when GUI starts or every 1 hour when local time is 0-2 clock.
