Logging In with a Mobile App Time-based One-Time Password
To use the mobile app time-based one-time password feature
- If you are not logged into the Secure Mobile Access Virtual Office user interface, open a web browser and type the Virtual Office interface URL in the Location or Address bar and press Enter.
- Select the appropriate domain from the Domain drop-down menu.
-
Type in your user name in the UserID field and your password in the Password field, and then click LOGIN.
The following prompt appears.
-
You can use either mobile application OTP or backup code to log in to the Virtual Office.
-
To complete authentication using mobile application OTP:
- Open the selected two-factor authentication app and retrieve the verification code.
- Type or paste the one-time password into the CODE field where prompted and then click VERIFY.
One-time passwords are immediately deleted after a successful login, and cannot be used again. Unused one-time passwords expire according to each user’s time-out policy.
-
To complete authentication using a personally generated backup code:
-
Click BACKUP CODE.
- Open the backup code file to retrieve one of the backup codes. For information on generating backup codes, see Generating Backup Codes.
- Type or paste the backup code into the Code field where prompted and then click VERIFY.
-
You can use each backup code only once.
You are logged in to the Virtual Office.
