Tenants or devices that already have a backup schedule at the All Tenants level are not available for selection when you create a new backup schedule. This prevents creating duplicate backup schedules for the same devices. For more information, refer to Scheduling Backups of a Device Configuration at All Tenants.
To schedule backups of a device configuration at tenant level
Define schedule of the backup in Schedule Configuration.
Select the Backup Type between TSR and EXP.
The settings files (EXP) can be used for recovery and the Technical-Support-Reports (TSR) can be used for troubleshooting.
Select the Run Type:
Specify the maximum number of backups that Firewall Management retains for each firewall.
Enable Edit Weekly Schedule Day or Edit Monthly Schedule Date to set the day or date on which the backup should be taken.
Enable the Password Protect to encrypt the backup with a password.
The password defined in the rule is required to extract the downloaded backup file.
Click Next to proceed to Device Selection screen.
Do one of the following:
Select Devices to include specific devices from that tenant.
Select Devices that are online and offline from the list or select All Devices
Click Next after choosing the devices or All to review.
Review the added backup configuration details. Do one of the following:
Click Previous to make any changes to added configuration information.
Click Save to create a backup schedule.
The backup schedule is now created and display on the Manager View | Home > Firewalls > Backups page.
