Configuring DHCP Option Object from NETWORK Menu

You can configure the DHCP Option objects either from DHCP Server Settings or DHCP Server Lease Scopes tab.

To configure DHCP option object from DHCP Server Settings

  1. Navigate to NETWORK | System > DHCP Server > DHCP Server Settings.
  2. Click IPv4 or IPv6 option under which you want to create the option object.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Click Add under Option Objects tab.
  5. Follow the steps from 4 through 7 from Adding DHCP Option Objects.

    The option object is created. You can find the option object under Option Objects tab as well as on the OBJECT | Profile Objects > DHCP Option page.

  6. Click Cancel or Go Back to go back to DHCP Advanced Settings.

To configure DHCP option object from DHCP Server Lease Scopes

  1. Navigate to NETWORK | System > DHCP Server > DHCP Server Lease Scopes.
  2. Click IPv4 or IPv6 option under which you want to create the option object.
  3. Click the Add Static or Add Dynamic icon.
  4. Click the Advanced tab.
  5. Under DHCP GENERIC OPTIONS group, select DHCP Generic Option Group as Create New DHCP Option Object.
  6. Follow the steps from 4 through 7 from Adding DHCP Option Objects.
  7. Click Cancel or Go Back to go back to Advanced tab.
  8. Click Cancel to go back to DHCP Server Lease Scopes.

    The option object is created. You can find the option under OBJECT | Profile Objects > DHCP Option page.
