Creating a Report Rule
To create a report rule
- Navigate to Manager View | Home > Reports > Rule.

Click the + Add icon above the table.
The CREATE REPORT RULE wizard is displayed.

Click Next.

In the REPORT CONFIGURATION page:

Type the Report Name.

Type the Report Description.

Type the Cover Title.

Select the IP version.

Select the type of information you want in your report from the options displayed. You can include all the data by selecting Select All.

Click Next.

In the DEVICE SELECTION page:

Select one of the following options:

Firewall—To select firewalls
-
Group—To select device groups
-
Tenant—To select the tenant you have logged into.

Click Next.

In the DELIVERY CONFIGURATION page:

Select Run Type.

Select the Delivery Interval. You can choose Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
If the Delivery Interval is set to Weekly, specify the day when to receive the report. The default option is Sunday.
If the Delivery Interval is set to Monthly, specify the appropriate date to receive the report. The default date is 7.

Specify the Schedule Time.

Select the Delivery Type to indicate whether the report is set up for Save Report or Email, or both.
If you have selected delivery type as Email, you need to provide information on the email recipient in Email Destination and Email ID fields. Enter the Email Subject and Email Body. You can choose to receive the compressed report in the email by enabling Zip Report.

If you want added security for the report, enable Password Protect. Enter and confirm the password when asked.

To use a custom logo in your reports, enable Use Custom Logo and select or upload a logo from your local system.

Click Next.

Review report settings, click Save.
If you have successfully created a report rule, a success message is displayed. The newly created report is displayed on page.
You can also create a report rule for a firewall in the Firewall View | Home > Reports > Rules page. The procedure for creating scheduled reports in the Firewall View is similar to creating a report rule in the Manager View as given above.
