Adding a Variable
To add Variable Objects
- Navigate to Manager View | Home > Global Objects > Variables page.

Click Add Variable. Enter the Variable Name. From the Variable Type, choose the type as IPv4 address, IPv6 address, IPv4 octet, IPv6 Hextet, Interface and Text.
The Variable cannot be deleted once it is applied to the devices as a part of template configuration.
- Click Save. The saved Variables are displayed in the list.
- To delete any of the created variables from the list, check the box and click Delete icon.
- Refresh icon at the top, refreshes the list.

Column Selection allows to choose which options can be displayed in the Variables screen by checking the box. You can also search for a specific variable from the list by typing the keyword in the search box.
