NAT Method is grayed out in a NAT policy advenced option

This article explains why the option fro NAT method is grayed out on the Advanced tab when creating or editing a NAT policy.

Resolution for SonicOS 7.X

This release includes significant user interface changes and many new features that are different from the SonicOS 6.5 and earlier firmware. The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 7.X firmware.


In order to use the NAT method or change the default "Sticky IP" option, please insure that the Original Destination should be an only one IP. and the Translated Destination a group of IPs

In this example, the Original Destination is set as X1 IP (one IP only), and the Translated Destination is set as "LAN Subnets" (group of IPs).

Now the NAT method is available to change:

In order to use the NAT method or change the default "Sticky IP" option, please insure that the Original Destination should be an only one IP. and the Translated Destination a group of IPs

In this example, the Original Destination is set as X1 IP (one IP only), and the Translated Destination is set as "teste NAT" (group of 2 IPs).
