How to export or import all managed firewalls on NSM On-Prem

This article describes how to export a list with all firewalls that are currently managed by your NSM On-Prem appliance and import it to a new appliance.

This is useful as a backup of all currently managed firewalls for recovery or when re-installing your NSM appliance.

1. Log into NSM, click on "Global Default Tenant", select "All Tenants":

2. click on "More Options" then "Download Add Device JSON" (you can download CSV as well for easy reading):

3. Export it to a CSV file:

After installing a new NSM, the device list can be imported.

1. Log into NSM, go to "All Tenants", click on "Add" then "Import Add Device File":

2. click on "Browse" and select the file:

3. NSM will now import and acquire all firewalls from the exported addDevice file.
