How to send SNMP trap from GMS to Any alert system?

Description

It is possible to send SNMP trap from GMS to any third party alert system such as PRTG, Solarwinds, OP Manager etc.?

Resolution

1. In this example we want to send SNMP trap regrading 'Monitoring VPN Tunnel' from GMS

This will configure standard SNMP and will send the alerts to GMS Administrator. Now we can use GMS to send this trap the any other SNMP monitoring system.

2. Configuring SNMP trap for third party monitoring system:

- Login to GMS | Firewall tab | Select the firewall from the tree control for SNMP trap

- Policies | Events | Alert Settings | Select the Alert Type "VPN Tunnel Status" > Edit

        .1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.4.3.0=.1.3.6.1.4.1.8741
Now we can see the trap has sent to the correct destination 192.168.100.100.
