Alerts

The Alerts page displays the list of alerts you have received within the time span defined for the list. You can update the list at any time by clicking the Refresh icon, and you can change the period covered by adjusting the orange slider at the top of the list.

The Alerts list is designed so that you know at a glance what type of alert has been sent and whether it has been acknowledged. The type of alert is indicated by the icon included in the list. The icons and their definitions are noted in the following table:

Critical
High
Major
Minor
Low
Normal
Info

When each message is added to the list a New indicator appears next to the time. This indicator stays in place until the alert is acknowledged.

To acknowledge the alert

  1. Select the check box by the message.
  2. Click to mark the message Read. Note that the New indicator goes away and the Status is changed to Read.
  3. Click to delete the alert.

The time period for the Alert list can be adjusted by sliding the orange slider along the scale at the top of the list. The predefined options range from last 24 hours to all.

To filter the alerts

  1. Navigate to Activities & Logs > Alert.
  2. Click the Filter icon.

  3. Select from the following to set your filter. You can select more than one item in each category.
    • Severity
    • Type
    • Status
    • Category

    As you select the criteria, the table immediately updates to reflect your choices.

To download the Alerts report

  1. Click the Export as CSV icon.
  2. Open the file that appears in the lower left corner.
  3. Save the file as needed.
