As a fix for ANA-66 in Analytics 2.5.4 release, flow Analytics has implemented a new data retention algorithm. Users can choose to move to new data retention algorithm. However, by default, Analytics will continue to use existing data retention algorithm. In Analytics 2.5.4 , you can check data retained by Analytics On-Prem from its user interface. Go to “Console->Flow Agent-> Devices” and look at value in DATA RETENTION (DAYS) column of device table. To change the data retention days, please contact SonicWall support team.
Any changes to data retention days requires that you have enough free hard disk space available. Available free hard disk depends on the applied Analytics license
