Upgrading to Analytics 2.5.2

Analytics 2.5.2 does not support direct SWI upgrades from the 2.5.0.3 release, See Upgrade instructions in the appropriate Deployment Guide before upgrading.

You can move to Analytics 2.5.2 from 2.5.0.3 HF2, 2.5.0.3 HF3, or 2.5.0.4. Based on the way Analytics is deployed, a deployed Analytics version user can move to 2.5.2 through an SWI upgrade or by moving data to fresh installation of Analytics 2.5.2. Customers currently on Analytics 2.5.0.3 HF2 and with data in the internal disk, moving to Analytics 2.5.2 is only possible after applying 2.5.0.3 HF3 on the 2.5.0.3 HF2 version as 2.5.0.3 HF3 allows you to migrate data from an internal disk to an external disk and then upgrade to 2.5.2. Refer to the platform specific deployment guides: On-Premises Analytics ESXi Deployment Guide, On-Premises Analytics Hyper-V Deployment Guide, and On-Premises Analytics Azure Deployment Guide to understand the upgrade paths and procedures.

Direct upgrade to Analytics 2.5.2 is not supported. To upgrade to Analytics 2.5.2, complete the following steps:

1. Upgrade your analytic installation to Analytics 2.5.0.3-HF3.

2. Unmount hard disk from Analytics 2.5.0.3-HF3.

3. Install Analytics 2.5.2 as a fresh install.

4. Mount the hard disk (unmounted in step 2) on Analytics 2.5.2.
