Where can I find my SonicWall serial number and model number?

This article will help customers on where to find the SonicWall serial number in the My SonicWall account , The Management Interface and on the Hardware itself.

In MySonicWall Web page (Serial Number)

1. Log into your account in www.mysonicwall.com.

2. Click My Workspace.

3. Select Products.

4. Then a window with the list of your registered appliances will show up.

Simply identify the specific SonicWall in question by friendly name, product type, etc, and look at the serial number column.

 TIP: If you have a large number of products, you can sort them by clicking on any of the headers, or, filter/search by selecting the icons in the top right hand side (above the # sign.)

Using the firewall management interface (Serial Number and Model Number)

FOR GEN7 DEVICES: 

1. Login to the firewall.

2. Navigate to Home | Dashboard | System | General.

3. The serial number and model is located under the General section.

On the hardware itself (if applicable.)

SonicWall hardware has a tag that will display the serial number and authentication code. The tag should be located on the bottom or back of the device, depending on the exact model.

SonicWall hardware has a tag that will display the model number of your firewall product. The tag will be located on the front of your device usually in the bottom left or the upper right of your product.

On the Carton Box (if Applicable).

The Serial number and the Authentication Code is seen on the label of the Carton box in which the product is shipped.
