How to export and import connection profiles in NetExtender

How to  copy the NX profiles from old client machine to new client machine

Under Microsoft Windows environment:

Export connection profiles :

To export connection profiles from NetExtender windows version,  follow the steps below:

Step 1. On a new client machine

• Open CMD
• Write the command
• whoami

Step 2. In old Client machine
path to the configuration files:
C:\Program Files\SonicWall\SSL-VPN\NetExtender

Copy the connections.json file (this contains the saved connection profile).

Step 3. In connection json file from old client machine
Modify the owner
Example ,
"owner": "TEST\sonicwall"

Step 4: Import connection profiles: 

To import connection profiles, transfer this file to the corresponding directory on the target machine (new machine)

Step 5: Restart

Restart the target PC for the changes to take effect. Transferred profiles will appear in the connection list.
