How can I manually add licenses to SonicWall Appliance?

Description

This article shows how to apply license keys to your devices through mysonicwall.com account.

Resolution

  1. Login to your mysonicwall.com account.
  2. Navigate to My Workspace | Products.

     3. Click the serial number of the device to apply the license key.

     4. You have the option for Product Details, Licenses , Firmware and Cloud Backups.

     5. On the Licenses tab, please select the key hyperlink associated with the type of license. (Comprehensive Gateway Security Suite, SSL VPN, Support licensing, etc).

    6. Apply the activation key and confirm.

7. If the product has different expiry date for Service Contracts, you will get two options "COTERM" and "RENEW" as shown below. Click "COTERM" or "RENEW" and Activate the license key.

  • CoTerm : Co-term will adjust the expiration dates of all Service Contracts to expire on the same date.
  • Renew : Renew will renew the Service Contracts but will have different Expiry dates.

Once the key is applied, Navigate to your products page and refresh the product list, you should now see your updated services.

NOTE: If your device/software interface is not syncing up with mysonicwall.com,please contact Support.

2. By phone: please use our toll-free number at 1-888-793-2830. Please have your SonicWall serial number available to create a new support case.
