Firewall Configuration

Having obtained the Access Key and Secret Access Key for the user account that will be used to enable the firewall to access the AWS APIs, the basic configuration of the firewall itself is straightforward.

1. Navigate to NETWORK | System > AWS Configuration.

   

2. Enter the Access Key ID, the Secret Access Key, confirm, and select a default Region.

   The default region is only used for initialization of the AWS Objects and AWS VPN pages. However, it is the region that is used when sending firewall event logs to AWS CloudWatch Logs and, consequently, it is affected by changes on the AWS Logs page.

After all the settings have been entered, press Accept to save the configuration.
