Providing Access to Voice Over IP (VoIP)
To permit users running one of the network tunnel clients to call each other using a Voice over IP (VoIP) telephony application, follow the steps outlined next.
To provide access to VoIP users
-
Ensure that the network tunnel service is running on the appliance; you can do this on the AMC home page or System Configuration > Services page.
-
Create an IP address pool for the network tunnel clients (Connect Tunnel or OnDemand Tunnel) on the System Configuration > Services > Configure Network Tunnel Service page.
-
Ensure that the users who will access the VoIP application belong to a community that is configured to deploy one of the network tunnel clients to their computers. This is done on the Access Methods tab of the User Access > Realms > Configure Realm > Communities > Configure Community page.
-
Create an access control rule from the VoIP users to the address pool that will be used for the VoIP application on the System Configuration > Access Control > Add Access Rule page.
-
Create a second access control rule from the address pool for the VoIP application to the VoIP users the System Configuration > Access Control > Add Access Rule page.
