Configuring an External Identify Provider
To configure an external identity provider for MySonicWall
- Log in to your MySonicWall account.
- Navigate to Settings > My Account > My personal profile.
- Enable Use External Identity Provider under ADDITIONAL OPTIONS group.

Select the Identity Provider Organization.

Configure the external identity provider in one of the following ways:

Select the check box and enter the Service Provider Metadata URL copied from the external Identify Provider (Okta or Azure AD) application.
System automatically pull the relevant data and populates in the input fields. For more information about getting metadata URL, refer to below table.

Manually select the identity provider protocol:
- Set Authentication Type as Code or Token for OpenID Connect protocol.
- Fill in the respective fields with information copied from external identity provider application. For more information, refer to the below table.
