Starting your Firewall Migration

Ensure the supported platforms and versions before starting your firewall migration via SonicWall Migration Tool.

You can import the settings from one firewall to another, but not every SonicWall model is compatible with all others. Similarly, some firmware versions are incompatible with subsequent versions as new features are added or changes are made to existing features. Refer to Supported Platforms and Importing Configuration Settings sections to help avoid possible settings corruption from unsupported settings import.
