Diagnostics

The Diagnostics window has several different sections which shows switch statistics, basic information about the switch, switch restart, and firmware updates.

Both the switch statistics and the basic switch information can be refreshed. Just click the Refresh button in the appropriate section.

To restart switch

  1. Navigate to MANAGE | SETUP > Switch Controller > Diagnostics.
  2. Scroll down to the RESTART SWITCH section.
  3. Click Restart.

To update switch firmware

  1. Navigate to MANAGE | SETUP > Switch Controller > Diagnostics.
  2. Scroll down to the FIRMWARE MANAGEMENT section.

  1. Select the firmware version from the drop-down list for the switch you want to update.
  2. Click change the Active Partition, if you want to update the active partion.
