Description
SonicWall's Web management Interface can be accessed using HTTP and HTTPS using a Web browser. Only HTTPS is enabled by default and HTTP management needs to be enabled separately if required. The default port for HTTP is port 80 and HTTPS is port 443. However, if you configure another port for HTTP/HTTPS management, you must include the port number when you use the IP address to log into the SonicWall.
You log into the SonicWall management Interface using https://IP Address where the IP address is the SonicWall LAN IP address.
EXAMPLE: If the LAN IP address of your SonicWall appliance is 192.168.168.1, you can log into it by typing https://192.168.168.1.
EXAMPLE: If you configure the port to be 76, then you must enter http://192.168.168.1:76 into the Web browser.
NOTE: Modifying default HTTP and HTTPS management rules may render the SonicWall's Web management Interface inaccessible. You need to use the CLI to restore the default rules.
