Manage security services online and synchronize licenses from SonicWall firewall

This section of the page allows you to synchronize licenses with MySonicWall.com, and activate or renew security services licenses using Activation Keys.

Resolution for SonicOS 7.X

This release includes significant user interface changes and many new features that are different from the SonicOS 6.5 and earlier firmware. The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 7.X firmware.

To upgrade, activate, or renew the services

1. Login to the firewall.
2. Navigate to Device|Settings|Licenses.
   
   
   
3. Click MySonicWall, and you will be redirected to mysonicwall.com. Enter your credentials and click LOGIN. Activate, upgrade, or renew security services licenses using Activation Keys.
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. You can manually upgrade your licenses by entering the “Keyset” for them, obtained on MySonicWall.com.

Synchronize Licenses

1. Login to the firewall
2. Navigate to Device|Settings|Licenses.
3. Click the synchronize button.
   
   
4. The device will try to contact the License Manager and a success message will appear on the screen.

This release includes significant user interface changes and many new features that are different from the SonicOS 6.2 and earlier firmware. The below resolution is for customers using SonicOS 6.5 firmware.

To upgrade, activate, or renew the services.

1. Login to the firewall.
2. Navigate to MANAGE|Updates|Licenses.
3. Under Manage Security Services Online, we have two methods to upgrade, renew, or activate services.
   
   
   
4. Go to MYSonicWall.com. Activate, upgrade, or renew security services licenses using Activation Keys. Come back to the appliance page and click the SYNCHRONIZE button.
   
   
   Provide your MySonicWall login and make all changes from here. Click on From here hyperlink and you will be redirected to a page, requesting MYSonicWall account credentials.
   

 TIP: You can manually upgrade your licenses by entering the “Keyset” for them, obtained on MySonicWall.com.

Synchronize Licenses

1. Login to the firewall
2. Navigate to MANAGE|Updates|Licenses.
3. Under Manage Security Services Online, click on the SYNCHRONIZE button to synchronize licenses on the appliance with MySonicWall.com. Licenses are automatically synchronized at regular intervals, but you may want to do this if you have just purchased a license.
