How can I make a secondary WAN as default WAN?

Description

SonicWall has the ability to add more than one WAN connection on the firewall. This feature allows network administrators to choose a WAN port as the default WAN for making outbound (Internet bound) connections.

For this article, we assume the following

  • X1 is the Primary WAN connection and has been configured on the firewall.
  • X2 Is the Secondary WAN connection and has been configured on the firewall.
  • The WAN connections are part of Failover & LB Group.
