Deploying previous versions of NSv on AWS
Description
Below are the steps to be followed by AWS users who want to deploy previous firmware versions of NSv since by default AWS allows the user to deploy the latest NSv version:
1)Login to AWS console https://console.aws.amazon.com .
2)Click on Launch Instance.
3) Search for SonicWall NSv, two results will be available as below.
4)Select PAYG if you prefer pay-as-you-go model which is an hourly payment model or BYOL if you already have a license from SonicWall distributor/partner. We are selecting BYOL for reference here and then click on View Additional Details in AWS Marketplace shown below:
5)On the next screen, click on Continue to Subscribe.
6)On the next screen, click on Continue to Configuration.
7)On the next screen, scroll down to Software Version section. Use the dropdown and select the required software version that you need and then click on Continue to Launch.
8)Now follow the general process to deploy the machine in AWS.
