How to Revert the GUI back to UI7 on Gen7 firewalls?

We have come across a few cases where the UI on Gen7 firewalls changes to UI6 after settings have been migrated from a Gen6 firewall. Additionally, to revert back to UI7 when UI6 was enabled for debug purposes.
NOTE: UI6 on GEN7 firewalls was originally provided solely for debugging purposes. As of SonicOS 7.1.2, the option to revert to UI6 on GEN7 firewalls is no longer supported. 

We have an option to Revert back the GUI to UI7 on Gen7 firewalls from an internal settings page and it is highly recommended to do so, as the UI6 on Gen7 firewalls is only for debugging purposes. 

Please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Login to the firewall with the admin credentials.
   
   
2. Once logged in, browse to the diag page. https://IPaddress/diag.html
   
   EXAMPLE: If the IP address of the firewall is 192.168.168.168, then the diag page can be accessed at https://192.168.168.168/diag.html
   
   
3. Click on Internal Settings and Scroll down to MANAGEMENT SETTINGS and you will see an option for SonicUI7 as default management GUI. Please enable the option and then open a new tab on browser and login with management IP address now the GUI should revert to UI7.
