Am I eligible for Technical Certification Training?
Yes, SecureFirst Partners, SonicWall customers and any person interested in cybersecurity are eligible for SonicWall Network Security Administrator (SNSA) and the SonicWall Secure Mobile Access Administrator (SMAA) certification training. A current SNSA certification is a prerequisite for attending the class for SNSP (SonicWall Network Security Professional) for SonicOS 7 and taking the certification exam.
What are the requirements for SonicWall’s Technical Certification Training Program?
You’ll need an activation key from a SonicWall instructor or an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) to enroll in the SonicWall Network Security Administrator (SNSA) or Professional (SNSP) courses. You must also complete eLearning and pass knowledge checks to access the comprehensive certification exam.
Can I purchase a key for additional exams?
If you need to take additional exams for SNSA, SNSP or SMAA certification, you may purchase additional test keys from the SonicWall University exam page.
How can I become a Technical Master?
You can achieve the status of “Technical Master” by completing all courseware in the Technical Master Program.
What will I learn in the SonicWall Network Security Administrator (SNSA) course?
You’ll learn how to design, implement, and troubleshoot SonicWall Network Security products. You’ll also learn how to configure SonicWall firewall for various functions, including Secure and Remote Connectivity, Network Optimization, and Advanced Threat Protection.
What will I learn in the SonicWall Network Security Professional (SNSP) course?
You’ll learn how to monitor, investigate, analyze and configure SonicWall Next-Gen firewalls running SonicOS 7 to enable advanced functionality related to Secure and Remote Connectivity, Network Optimization, and Threat Prevention.
How are the courses delivered?
Both the SNSA and SNSP courses combine online learning with hands-on classroom training. Activation keys are required to access the course modules. The SMAA is a self- paced certification accessed through SonicWall University.
What’s included in the SonicWall Secure Mobile Access Administrator (SMAA) course?
The SMAA course covers topics like Microsoft Intune Service, SAML idP Authentication, KVM and Hypervisor Support, Tunnel Exclusions, and other new features.
Can I earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credits using SonicWall University?
Yes. The time you spend in SonicWall University does count towards your Continuing Professional Education (CPE) goals and requirements. Courseware completions, webinars attendance, and Technical Certification training is tracked on your SonicWall University student transcript. You can use your transcript as verification of your Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements for various professional certifications, such as CISSP, ISC2, PMI, PMP, and more.
