TOKYO — June 5, 2023 — SonicWall is expanding its regional executive lineup and security expertise with the appointment of Vice President of Sales, Japan Tsuyoshi Kitagawa.

Kitagawa joins the SonicWall team with almost three decades of cybersecurity experience, with his most recent position being Japan Country Manager at Ivanti Software. He was responsible for business growth and organizational and ecosystem enhancement. Kitagawa has a wealth of experience in the IT/Security industry and has held key positions at ServiceNow Japan GK, FireEye KK, Dell Technologies KK, and Symantec. With his leadership experience and diverse expertise spanning alliance sales, global account sales, and sales engineering, Kitagawa will be responsible for expanding business and developing and further strengthening SonicWall’s business in Japan.

SonicWall Report Details 14 Million Victims of Malware Breaches in the U.S. Healthcare Sector

SonicWall discovers 91% of healthcare breaches involve ransomware in 2024 - underscoring the urgent need for improved cybersecurity and strong partnerships with MSPs/MSSPs MILPITAS, Calif. — September 26, 2024 — SonicWall today unveiled a 2024 SonicWall Threat Brief, focused exclusively on the healthcare industry and is based on extensive research from SonicWall Capture Labs. The report reveals that a minimum of 14 million patients in the U.S. have fallen victim to malware breaches in this sector.
