Error - "Available disk space on your installation drive is less" -- during role configuration
During the role configuration of new VA deployments (ESX server) of GMS/Analyzer using the .OVA files , the role configuration fails at times complaining about the available disk space being less for the role configuration process to complete (below screenshot is an example)
This issue has been observed in scenarios where first/initial boot process of the new GMS/Analyzer VM instance (immediately after deploying the .OVA file on the ESX server) has been interrupted (by powering OFF/Rebooting the Virtual appliance or the ESX server ).
When the GMS/Analyzer VA instance is booting for the first time it will take a longer time for the server to become available.
Make sure that you do not Power Off/On during this time as this error will be seen afterwards.
Please wait patiently for the login screen to show up in the GUI / the login prompt to show up in the VM console (do not reboot/power off before the login screen appears during the first boot )
Perform the role configuration now and the role config should succeed this time without the above mentioned error.
