Mounting Using Ceiling Brackets
The SonicWave 641 comes with a ceiling/wall mounting bracket and screws. This section describes how to use the mounting hardware to attach the SonicWave to the ceiling or an indoor wall.
Ceiling Bracket
The underside of the SonicWave 641 has two mounting bracket insertion points where you can click the bracket tabs in to help secure the unit to the wall or ceiling, or to a ceiling T-bar. Use these mounting bracket insertion points to attach the bracket to the SonicWave 641.

To attach to a ceiling T-bar

Attach the mounting bracket to the underside of the SonicWave .

Supporting the SonicWave in one hand, position the edge clips of the bracket over the edge of the ceiling T-bar.

Rotate the SonicWave counterclockwise (to the left when looking up at it) until the bracket is securely attached to the T-bar.
To remove the original configuration SonicWave 641 from the ceiling T-Bar, gently pressing upward, rotate it clockwise (to the right when looking up at it) until the bracket detaches from the crossbar.
Ceiling/Wall Bracket
The SonicWave 641 comes with a mounting bracket so it can be mounted on the ceiling or other flat surface. The same bracket used as a ceiling T-bar mount, can also be mounted on a ceiling (or wall) using either the two provided anchors and screws. For mounting on a flat surface, holes in the bracket ceiling T-bar clips provide insertion points for screws. Use #6 (3.5mm) zinc plated pan head machine screws (sheet metal screws) of length 1.25 inches (31.75 mm). When mounting on drywall, anchors should be used. Anchors must accommodate the screws and be rated to hold at least 10 lbs (4.5 kg).
The underside of the SonicWave 641 has two insertion points where you can hang the SonicWave by two plastic insertion stubs located on the underside of the ceiling bracket. You can use these insertion stubs to attach the bracket to the SonicWave 641 after the bracket has been installed on a ceiling or wall.
