GMS got corrupt or damaged and lost licensing information and services don’t start up again.
This occurs in some instances when GMS got corrupt or damaged
For GMS VA:
Step 1: Obtain root access to GMS, using WinSCP login to the console role and go to /opt/GMSVP/etc and check the file size of the file sgms.o. This should be 0 KB.
Step 2: Go to the folder /opt/GMSVP/backup/. There should be a file called sgms.o with a file size >1 KB. Copy this file to /opt/GMSVP/etc/ and replace the 0 KB sgms.o
Step 3: IF you have the chance on the GMS website, hit the “Refresh license” button. This should recover the websites already. Reboot GMS VA or restart the web server daemon, if possible. This can be done via putty using the command:
/opt/GMSVP/bin/sgms webserver stop
/opt/GMSVP/bin/sgms webserver start
When you use postgresSQL engine, the command is:
/opt/GMSVP/bin/sgms_pg webserver stop
/opt/GMSVP/bin/sgms_pg webserver start
For GMS Windows:
