SonicWALL CDP Series

SonicWALL® Continuous Data Protection (CDP) offers the only complete end-to-end disk-based backup and recovery solution, with flexible Offsite Data Backup, Site-to-Site Data Backup, Local Archive and Bare Metal Recovery options to address any disaster recovery scenario. Easy to manage, CDP automates tedious tasks, providing a true low-touch solution. Policy-driven CDP is transparent to the end-user, ensuring that data, applications and systems are reliably protected. CDP’s self-directed restore increases productivity while reducing IT support. An ideal replacement for tape-based systems, CDP ensures that all files are available in multiple historic versions, and that all servers and its applications—including Exchange, SQL and Active Directory database—are protected with multiple-point-in-time versions for disaster recovery.

SonicWALL CDP is also designed to reduce overall support costs for managed service providers and/or IT departments. First, users have the ability to restore their own files without administrator intervention. Next, IT administrators have the ability to conveniently set centralized policies from a single location. And finally, IT administrators have the ability to concentrate their entire local and disaster backup and recovery deployment through a single solution rather then juggling multiple solutions from multiple vendors.
